Lakeland Medical Practice

Name: Lakeland Medical Practice

Date: Nov-2008

Client: Lakelands Medical

Builder: Constructions Group (formerly Ray White Constructions)

Category: Medical

A new 450m² medical centre fitout in Lakelands Medical Centre. The medical centre consists of a large waiting area with children's area, reception, 12 consulting rooms, a procedure room, a 4 bed treatment room, nurses station, public and staff amenities and staff room.

The new facilities were necessitated by the relocation of the client's long standing and busy suburban practice. A fresh approach was sought to update the practice's image to facilitate growth from a 5 consulting room practice to 12. This is an exemplar of how good design can facilitate business growth.

The fitout scheme reflects the modern practice facilities while still maintaining the warm and comfortable atmosphere of the existing practice.

By designing both the base building and the fitout, 8i Architects were able to ensure the fitout complemented the architecture of the external building.
