8i Architects were engaged by FKG Group to design and document a brand new $40 million school in Coomera for the Department of Education.

The main scope of works comprised of a total of 17 new buildings including an Administration and Student Support Building, Multipurpose Hall, Canteen & Central Amenities, dedicated Prep, Junior and Senior learning areas and a Special Education Unit.

The project also included provision of multiple outdoor play areas, extensive landscaping, a student drop-off & bus zone area, visitor and staff car parking, covered entry and walkways and sports oval. 8i Architects

8i Architects is a Brisbane based architectural design practice specialising in innovative, functional and sustainable design solutions. Our focus is on design excellence, providing quality spaces that are unique to the site and the client’s needs.

I have worked with Charmaine, Hieu and the team at 8i Architects for the past 6 years. I can honestly say that if you want no nonsense, non-ego based, well thought through and sensible architecture then let 8i manage your project for you.

In my opinion 8i are big enough to handle projects up to the value of around $100m but small enough to provide the level of service that you won't get from the larger architectural firms who will give your project to a junior architect to manage.
