8i Architects is pleased to have documented and delivered a new and highly technical Evidence Management Facility in Brisbane for the Queensland State Government. The facility was recently opened by the Minister for Police, Mark Ryan, and Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll on 11th February, 2020. Commissioner Carroll said the purpose-built facility was a vital tool in enhancing the capabilities of the Queensland Police Service. “The facility incorporates the latest technology and security features allowing us to adapt to change and giving officers access to the latest forensic methods to aid investigations,” she said. The new facility contains specialised examination spaces, a vehicle examination garage, climate-controlled storage and a significant increase in capacity.
