New Sunshine Coast high school reaches next milestone

Updated: Sep 28, 2020

We're extremely pleased to be delivering the Sunshine Coast's new $127M Baringa high school for the Department of Education. The project has reached a significant construction milestone and is on track to welcome year 7 and 8 students in Term 1 of 2021.

Education Minister Grace Grace says the new school will meet the needs of the fast-growing Caloundra region and will be truly "state-of-the-art".

Stage 1 of the school will feature a library, hospitality centre, sports centre, lecture theatre, science centre, canteen, oval and staff centre – to name a few.

Baringa high school is one of five new state schools set to open across Queensland next year.

We're delighted to continue our ongoing relationship with the Department and look forward to delivering this major education project for Queensland.
