Thank you @evokeprojects for inviting @charmaine_kai_ to their Sydney office for their Meet the Expert Day. Charmaine is always open to share her knowledge on two of her favourite project types - #IVFLaboratories and #DayHospitals.

We genuinely admire that Evoke took time out of their pre-Christmas rush to invest the day in upskilling their team on these complex healthcare project types.
Educating the whole team from client engagement, design and construction ensures that the entire team is aligned, and that critical design solutions are carried through the full project journey to deliver better outcomes for clients and patients.

@8iarchitects Healthcare and Life Sciences lead architect charmaine_kai_ had the opportunity to attend the ARCS Australia Clinical Summit in Melbourne. She met up with our wonderful clients Nucleus Network’s Jeffery Wong and Biljana Georgievska.
Biljana’s fantastic presentation showcased Nucleus Network’s global expertise by developing bespoke solutions to facilitate specific sponsor requirements. Invaluable insights into the innovation and proactive solutions undertaken in Phase 1 Clinical Trials. Understanding future Clinical Trials processes allows us to futureproof the clinical trial facilities to cater for these processes.

Great to see our latest Queensland Marksmanship Training Range (MTR) in action!
A huge thank you to our client and project partners on the successful delivery of this new MTR for defenceaustralia. This new facility will significantly enhance the live-fire training capability of the Australian Defence Force.

Thanks to our principal consultant and engineers @acorconsultants led by Jason Sellin, for trusting @8iarchitects` Hieu Nguyen and Jeremy Haldane to advise, coordinate, and deliver the design and construction documentation on this MTR project.
Thanks also to Project Manager Mathew Bennett from @jll for your ongoing support throughout the project.
Contractors, Shamrock Civil Engineering, did a great job in constructing the range and worked with us to resolve the critical design details.
Our trusted specialist ballistics team at @bouwconsulting as always providing invaluable advice and insight to ensure the project meets all the critical safety requirements.

To have final validation sign off without delay highlights the importance of engaging an experienced range design team that saves time and money by delivering infrastructure that is operational for the Australian Defence Force from day one.
